项目位于克利夫兰历史街区，整体规划呼应场地形态及环境特色。用不同的材质区分，很好的呼应了建筑对周边历史环境的过渡。场地为倒L形，因此沿街面只有一户，为了在狭长的地块里置入12个单位，将视线通透的楼梯引入到每个户型，同时将楼梯作为半室外空间成为邻里交流的一个过渡空间，

The traditional staircase is located inside the building; However, the stairs serve as the core transportation to connect the various functions of the house. Separate the stairs independently of other functional spaces to form an atrium space to connect all spaces.

在一般的户型设计里，楼梯是卧室，客厅，厨房等主要交通空间，本方案希望通过将家人的交流互动，建筑与景观的对话同楼梯空间结合在一起成为家庭生活的中心公共空间，丰富居住生活。

Through the design of the atrium space, there is a better view, daylighting, green, connection and life. At the same time, through the special design of the stairs, the dialogue between the people, architecture and the environment can be realized; and the communication and social connection with the neighbors can be realized.
